This year the MADS took place on 1 & 2 April. The fair takes place in parallel with Beauty International Dusseldorf which can also be visited with your MADS ticket.
Since its first edition, the fair has suffered a transformation. Workshops and stage presentations are given in German and English and no longer in German only. The workshops are a huge add-on to the event. Assistants can try products, make questions and get feedback from experts.
Demos are also unmissable. In comparison to its first edition, I personally found strange that cosmetics brands were outside the MADS’ hall as it felt so empty and not appealing to the visitor.
Nevertheless, I had fun and will go back next year.
